Mrs. Stella Peper
Hi! My name is Stella Peper, and I’m proud to be in my 12th year of teaching. I currently teach Physical Education, Math, and READ 180 at New River Elementary School. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and a Master's degree in Special Education, both from Grand Canyon University.
I’m passionate about helping all students grow—academically, physically, and personally. I believe learning should be active, engaging, and inclusive for every child.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy traveling, reading, and running. These hobbies keep me inspired and energized to bring my best to school each day.
Welcome to the New River Physical Education Department. I am looking forward to working with students to improve their physical fitness, teach new skills and engage students in challenging games and activities. I am committed to helping every student achieve success.
Physical Education plays a vital role in today's society by helping students gain an appreciation for wellness, fitness, and participation in life-long physical activity. The Physical Education curriculum includes traditional games, individual and team sports, and physical fitness principles.
