Hi, my name is Miss. Nielsen. This will be my third year teaching and my second year at New River Elementary School. I am so excited to be back, and I am looking forward to this upcoming school year! A little bit about me. I have lived in Phoenix, Arizona since I was five years old. I moved here when I was five from Omaha, Nebraska. I love traveling, dancing, reading, spending time with my friends and family, and I am a huge animal lover. I have two dogs, named Champagne and Nala, three cats, named Bella, Binx, and Oliver, and I have two crested geckos, Spotty and Shady. I also, of course, love working with and teaching children. I like to say that I have worked with children of a wide range of ages and in a variety of capacities since I was a child myself. I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Public Administration. I love learning and call myself a "life-long learner" and I look forward to getting to know you all and your children throughout this upcoming school year and working together to foster a love of learning in the students and help ensure that they reach their full potential.
