Mr. Steven's Homepage

Hello! My name is Hank Stevens, and I’m proud to serve as the K–6 General Music, 5–6 Band, and 4–6 Choir teacher at New River Elementary School. This is my 7th year in education and my 4th year as part of the amazing New River community.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Instrumental Music from Northern Arizona University (NAU). I’m passionate about helping students discover their musical talents, express themselves creatively, and build confidence through performance and collaboration.

In my classroom, students can expect a fun, inclusive, and hands-on learning environment where we sing, play, explore music from different cultures, and grow as musicians together. I look forward to another fantastic year of music-making with our students!
